FUELED BY COMPASSION
WHEN YOU’RE HERE YOU’RE FAMILY.
It’s not business, it’s personal.
FAMILY OPERATED
Named after Chamroeun’s son, Mayta’s is a family-run café serving up a unique blend of Asian and American favorites.
Chamroeun and his family first came to the United States from Cambodia in 1992 where he quickly grew to love the melting-pot culture. He smiles as he recalls the first time he tried a sub sandwich in the middle school lunch room and when he learned that tacos existed. He now includes a variety of his American favorites in the broad menu at Mayta’s Cafe.
You can see the Southeast Asian influence in how Chamroeun approaches life - focused on family, food and fun. Stop by, say hi, and make it a good day.
FUELED BY COMPASSION
“Mayta” in Khmer means compassion, and that’s what we’re fueled by. We want you to leave here refreshed and a little more joyful than when you entered.
We’re all going through this rollercoaster of life together and we’re rooting for you. Let us fuel you to go out and win the day. When you’re here, you’re family.
GIVING BACK
The people at HCMC have taken care of a number of our family members over the years. They have always come through for us in tremendous ways during our most difficult times. We are honored to be in their building. Our goal is to provide unique, delicious and affordable food that helps fuel them as they go about being superheroes.
The time we’ve spent at HCMC as patients and concerned family members has changed our lives. We’re here to make a positive impact in return.
